Summary/Abstract: In the context of the European regulations of the last decades regarding the architectural heritage, landscape and biodiversity, as a reaction to the globalization phenomenon, but also as an attitude regarding the vulnerability of the Dutch rural habitations’ landscape, the cultural-historical identity is considered as a crucial factor for the spatial planning in the Netherlands, for which the Government creates optimal conditions of implementation.
