Summary/Abstract: The article presents the conservation works of the façades of a building from Bucharest, built in 1905. I have introduced the general principles for the crafts techniques, materials and some building technologies for the conservation works of the façades in a previous article “Conservation of Plaster Façades from Late 19th Century and Early 20th Century” issued in “Argument” – Architecture and Urban Planning Studies and Scientific Research no. 4/2012. This article presents, step by step, the construction works from cleaning up the façade and removing the unstable decorations to making and laying the mortar, making the running mould profile, casting the decorations and finishing the façade. The article highlights the importance of using traditional materials and building techniques in conservation works of the façades from late 19th century and early 20th century.
