Summary/Abstract: Early childhood intervention is defined as providing support to families of babies and young children in their natural environment and providing access to available resources in order to improve the child's development and family life. The family-oriented approach is the basis for providing early intervention services. It is based on the strengths of the child and the family, not on the deficits it works in constant partnership with the parents. The family is considered a key factor in the child's development. The ways to provide help are empowering. Early intervention supports the lives of children with special needs and gives them many opportunities for learning and development. It is a prerequisite for successful inclusion in the educational system and in social life. Inclusive education begins with early intervention.
