Summary/Abstract: This communication subjects to analysis the brochures published in 1867–1869 “Appel aux Grandes Puissances Garantes”, “Les deux voyageurs victimes devant Roustchouk”, “L’Evenement de Roustchouk et le Gouvernement turc” and “La Nation bulgare devant la Conference de Paris”. Considerable space is devoted also to the rough copy of an article designated for the Romanian newspaper “L’Etoile d’Orient”, published in French. All the texts were combined by their author and active participant in the events, Grigor Nachovich. In the communication on the basis of new documents is proved Grigor Nachovich’s authorship of the materials. The texts of the brochures are analysed with respect to the objectives, way of expression and the concrete demands raised in the context of the political activity of the Bulgarian emigrations during the 60s. Grigor Nachovich’s actions bear the traces of a political pragmatism typical not only of him during the second half of the 60s of the 19th c. that was favourable for the Bulgarian question. He worked with the “old” for the establishment of a “Yougoslav Kingdom” but he did not fully reject the plans of the “young” of the Clandestine Central Bulgarian Committee for the setting up of a dualistic Turkish-Bulgarian State, while preserving his skeptical attitude and possibility for criticism towards both groupings.
