Summary/Abstract: The concept of political skill is a widely used concept in related academic studies. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of political skill, expressed as the ability of employees to use their own social skills and behaviors in order to protect their organizational and individual outcomes in different and complex situations, on career success. The problem addressed by her study is to examine the effect of the political skill levels of white-collar employees on their career success, and the direction and degree of this effect. For the purpose of the study, research data were collected from white-collar employees working in the education, health and banking sectors in the province of Absheron, Republic of Azerbaijan. The data obtained in the research were analyzed with the “IBM SPSS Statistic 22” package program, and according to the results of the data analysis, it was found that the political skill levels of the employees affected their career success in a significant and positive way. As a result of the research, although important findings were obtained in the relationship between political scill and career success, the research has limitations. It is thought that more different research results can be achieved by eliminating these constraints in future studies.
