Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on identification, classification and analysis of conceptual metaphors which are very common in popular business discourse, i.e. electronic publications that deal with economic matters intended for a wide readership. Applying the framework of Conceptual Metaphor Theory, within the Cognitive Linguistic approach, the paper analyses metaphors from the corpus consisting of various business press articles available online, in the English and Montenegrin language. The aim of the paper is to reveal similarities as well as differences in the conceptualisation of economic concepts and their linguistic realisations in the two languages.
