English language learning in non-English environment

Summary/Abstract: In this paper we will cover what is language learning, we will review the input-output theory of second language learning and acquisition, and some socio-cultural factors that influence the process of learning in both native conditions and non-English environmental classroom. Research results on the effects of abroad studying are given and discussed. The student’s progress in foreign and domestic atmosphere is compared through the research papers of different scholars. Along with the conclusion, a SWOT analysis will be conducted to show the positives and negatives of native and non-native environment language learning for English. At the end, variants for betterment of ELT and ELL in non-native atmosphere are given.
