Summary/Abstract: The problem of the prestige of social work as a profession, its image in the eyes of the general public is the subject of research by scientists from different countries. Of course, this is related to the implementation of an effective policy, the main guidelines of which are directly related to the activities of social workers. The work of members of this professional community in different countries around the world often goes unnoticed by the majority of the population, as it directly affects the interests of socially disadvantaged social groups. But the complexity and importance of this profession as a whole cannot be underestimated.
