Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the main business processes in gas companies and the problems they face. The main contribution is the synthesis of the presented mechanisms for adding value in the business processes of the gas companies individually and in the whole chain. In particular, they refer to the tools related to the technological digitalization – object of Industry 4.0.- IoT, and Big Data; Full integration of business processes; Intelligent risk analysis. Here it is stated that their implementation in a complex is a guarantee of high sustainability and efficiency of processes.
