Summary/Abstract: More than a hundred years ago, a young theologian from south of the Carpathians, Nicolae Popescu, undertook a short visit to the Banat, noted in an original travel diary, that contains precious descriptions of cities, villages and worker colonies he travelled through, with the customs and habits of their inhabitants, parts of an invaluable spiritual dowry, which is being undeservingly engulfed today by the dust of oblivion.
