Summary/Abstract: The present paper deals with kaleidoscopic views featured in the 21st-century thriller The Silent Patient emphasizing a myriad of plots, subplots, clues, motives, traumas, scapegoats, and moral murderers in the entangled story of Alicia Berenson’s silence triggered by her killing her husband for ‘no reason.’ By means of her diary entries, the testimonies from her acquaintances, medical staff, and so on, the readers have access to a multitude of images, perspectives, twists, and a final blow provided by the (un)reliable narrator himself.
