Summary/Abstract: What will future warfare be like? This question is asked by servicemen, politicians, scientists and ordinary citizens. Future wars will definitely be different from those that took place in the 20th century. The size of the army will be of secondary importance on the future battlefield. What will count instead will be reconnaissance, the precision of the attack, and most of all, the effectiveness of military actions, making it possible to defeat the enemy with small losses. These goals will be achieved thanks to modern military technologies. Because of them, even the largest armies in the world have to take account of new types of weapons that instantly locate and attack the enemy, regardless of their distance and means of defence. It is obvious that in order to survive and defeat the enemy, apart from classic kinetic weapons, one needs to have other, more modern and effective support systems and weapons, which make it possible to destroy targets on land, at sea and in space. Space is becoming a modern battlefield, and it will be even more so in the future.
