On the issue of the naming of the herb common motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca L.) (on Russian and Bulgarian linguistic data)

Summary/Abstract: The paper is devoted to the naming of the plant common motherwort (Russ. пустырник сердечный), which is part of the thematic group of phytonyms “Herbal grass-like plants of the Labiatae family“. Under review and analysis are the origin, distinguishing features, the areas of application and use, the conditions and principles of creation, and the particulars of the creation and motivation of the naming of plant realia in Russian and Bulgarian.
