HOME SCHOOLING DURING PANDEMIC

Summary/Abstract: During the SARS-COV-2 epidemics the schools were closed which made us stay at home and change our way of teaching. Our standard teaching techniques had to be adapted to the new ways of teaching from home. Information technology and its span has been affecting different areas of our daily lives. Most of us are using different information technologies, but we are differently skilled in using them. We live in the information society which increasingly evolves every year and as such keeps bringing us new challenges. This progress strongly affects the flexibility of people. For remote teaching we use the internet, which is not only an enormous source of information but also a simple way of connecting with students and thus teaching them. Our school used MS Teams platform for remote teaching. One of the main problems the teachers had to deal with was how to do grade students and do the remote exams. The most challenging for students was to adapt to totally new and different way of communication and cooperation with teachers during home schooling. One of big issues was not unique way of teaching performed by different teachers. In this paper we will focus on questionnaire results focused on home schooling experience. We will also talk about exams and use of combination of Teams application together with Exam.net.
