Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the problems and issues of Cognitive Literary Studies and their interdisciplinary and methodological position in relation to Cognitive Science. It gives an overview of the basics of Cognitive Science and proposes an approach to Cognitive Literary Studies. It is emphasized that the Philosophy of Cognitive Science must define the boundaries and scope of Cognitive Literary Studies.
