Athos Manuscripts in the Collection of Viktor Grigorovich of the Russian State Library

Summary/Abstract: The article provides an overview of the Slavic manuscripts acquired by V. I. Grigorovich on Mount Athos, currently stored in the collection of his name in the department of manuscripts of the Russian State Library, provides information about the place and time of their acquisition, indicates the most significant works of researchers, which touched upon the issues of acquisition and storage of handwritten books from this collection. The characteristic of the restoration of the Mariinsky Gospel carried out in the Russian State Library in 2017–2020 is given. Information about new arrivals to the department of manuscripts of cartographic materials of Mount Athos in the middle of the XIX century is given.
