Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to suggest how, through closer and more constructive attention to the organizational arrangements and decisional procedures of the Atlantic community, transatlantic leadership and management might be improved. According to the author, some reinstitutionalization of the transatlantic relationship is needed—not radical replacement of existing structures but further reinforcement of the ones that exist, with some innovation at the very top better to coordinate the efforts of, particularly, NATO and the EU.
