EXAMINATION OF THE WORKS OF NURAN BALCI ÖZEKÇIN, GRADUATE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GRAPHIC ARTS OF THE STATE APPLIED SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS

Summary/Abstract: After the Bauhaus School of Art and Design, founded in 1919 in Weimar, Germany, was closed by Hitler in 1933, the understanding of education continued in various countries around the world. As a continuation of Bauhaus ' understanding of art and under the leadership of German instructors, the state Applied School of Fine Arts began its education in Turkey in 1957. After September 12, 1980, it was connected to Marmara University by the Higher Education Law in 1982 and provides education with its new structure as the Faculty of Fine Arts. She graduated from the state Applied Fine Arts School of Graphic Arts in 1979. For more than 20 years, she taught graphic design and basic art education in secondary education institutions. She later retired and has done chapter book illustrations in the classical method since 2007. By studying the works and drawing style of Nuran Balci Özekçin, a resource has been created for people who want to do research or specialize in the field of chapter book painting.
