Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to determine the authorship of part of the works about the well-known detective in the American crime fiction Nick Carter published in Bulgaria in the early 20th century, by employing a deductive approach. The analysis was performed on the basis of comparing the issued books in English, French and Bulgarian.
