Summary/Abstract: In recent times, environmental pollution has become one of the most global problems in the world, various ways are being sought to solve it. Pollution of water bodies has become more noticeable and its prevention has become more relevant. Historically, the Caspian Sea, which is rich in natural resources and medicinal value, has been exploited in various areas. As a result, it has lost its original appearance, and the ecological situation of the closed reservoir has become tense. The dense and compact residence of the population in the coastal areas of the basin and the rivers flowing into it, and the development of agriculture, and industry have led to an annual increase in pollution, the discharge of various wastes into the environment, and seawater. The article studied the contaminants of a closed reservoir in recent years, their number, as well as the measures taken and to be taken to prevent this.
