Summary/Abstract: The subject of this research is the analysis of the role of social networks in the life of Generation Z in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The study aims to analyze how social networks determine the growth and maturation of new generations in a dynamic social environment. In this context, the goal was to empirically establish and analyze the current situation concerning the topic in question and identify the key influencing factors. Research is based on the hypothesis that the use of the Internet from an early age and the interaction with the social networks of Generation Z change how these young people grow up. We have used following methods and techniques: basic methods of logical reasoning, general scientific methods - mixed method approach, methods and techniques for data collection. In conclusion, the initial hypothesis was verified, and it was stated that social networks play a significant role in the way Generation Z grows up and matures, which are new challenges for the socialization of this generation of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
