Summary/Abstract: After World War I, maintaining peace on continent was strategic objective for Romania and France, both winners of the global conflagration. Soviet Russia, with its communist ideology on the rise, was considered a real threat for European democracies. In the interwar period, cooperation between Romanian and French intelligence services played a major role in countering the actions of the soviet secret services.
