Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we will highlight the semiotic landscape of the Gagauz language in the Autonomous Region of Gagauzia, which is an integral part of the Republic of Moldova. In the first session, there is a brief overview of the cultural, historical, and linguistic characteristics of the Gagauz people. Hereinafter, the theoretical interaction between language and public space which is applied in the context of semiotic investigation will be presented. Against this background, the use of the Gagauz language in public will be analysed in three constellations.
