Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the canonical aspect of the formation of consecrated virgins.The first part presents the qualifications and qualities of the candidates for the „ordo virginum”. The second part presents the initial formation for the rite of consecration, while the third part deals with the permanent formation of consecrated virgins. The article ends with a summary and bibliography.
