Summary/Abstract: The Transabdominal Preperitoneal (TAPP) and Total Extraperitoneal (TEP) methods of inguinal hernia repair are well known throughout the world. In this article we review the solutions currently available to the obstacles that hinder the single incision endoscopic approach to TAPP and TEP inguinal hernia from becoming widely accepted.
