Summary/Abstract: The Act from 1906 relating to maritime insurance attests intellectual effervescence and marks the achievement of a significant reflections committed to end of the regime of Queen Victoria. 12 years were needed for the project to become a legal text and in this sense we can qualify him during Eduard time. This text is perhaps one of the major legislative contributions to the prosperity of the City of London (and the UK), as well as other Victorian initiatives continues to mark the British economy.
