Summary/Abstract: Cittaslow, known as the slow city, brings a new approach to contemporary tourism practices by making the experience of local people who live slowly and tourists who want to live slowly more satisfying. Seferihisar has been known as Turkey's first cittaslow city since 2010. This research basically examines the Seferihisar destination promotion video from a cittaslow (slow city) perspective. The research tries to determine how the characteristics of slow city practices are conveyed, represented in the Seferihisar promotional video published by Seferihisar Municipality and to what extent these criteria are included. For this purpose, the research is qualitatively based on the content analysis of the audio-visual promotional materials of Seferihisar and other slow cities. In addition, the promotional videos of slow cities published on the cittaslow website were compared. In the research, it has been determined that there are some slow tourism features in Seferihisar promotional videos. However, a clear message that could increase the potential of the destination to be a sustainable and slow destination was found to be missing both in the Seferihisar promotional video and in other cittaslow videos
