Summary/Abstract: The important role of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, known as drones, is constantly increasing in-state safety system area. Drones are used by many different safety services responsible for state safety. New modern functionalities of unmanned aerial vehicles allow conducting a lot of statutory tasks by many services. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles also participate in various types of search and rescue operations. Unmanned systems allow for the elimination of many threats that may have a negative impact on human life and health. The analysis of the literature shows that unmanned aviation in the increasing provision of services and public services. Pandemic COVID-19 shows how important an element of observation and monitoring from the air is. The changes in the legal regulations regarding unmanned aerial vehicles and the increasing number of air operations performed prove the extraordinary popularity of the above-mentioned flying objects.
