ТНЕ POLITICAL TOLERANCE - FACTOR OF ТНЕ РЕАСЕ AND ТНЕ STABILIТY

Summary/Abstract: The contemporary democratic societies can not function without the necessary respect for the differences among the individuals nor for the specific economic and political characteristics of the community. In that sense, nowadays, apart from the existence of the different kinds of tolerance - cultural, religious, ethnic, it is not а coincidence that special importance is given to the political tolerance. There is no universal theory related to the notion of political tolerance and it can not be determined without the determination of the concept of political freedom. The customary theories are those of participatory and representative democracies. With respect for all findings, it can be concluded that the political, religious and ethical tolerance are to be seen аѕ а challenge of modern times. From that а conclusion is drawn that within the structure of the democratic political culture, the political tolerance is а significant test for the establishment, development and maintenance of the democracy.
