Summary/Abstract: The paper covers the issue of accelerated penal procedure. It discusses conditions for application of this procedure under Polish law and presents them against the background of regululations in force in other countries, i.e. Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. The assumption of the study was to assess Polish legal solutions and to demonstrate the basic differences and similarities between laws of each of afresaid countries.
