Summary/Abstract: The Romanian Cultural Institute has to be reimagined and prepared for relevant international projects. A new integrated strategy is vital. Policies must also be effective. The future options have to address objectives, responsibilities and ways to measure success. Transformation can only take place with good faith, intelligence, professionalism and a lot of work. A set of fundamental values, professional expertise, solid and lasting partnerships, transparent communication – all together should make up the strategic mix for a successful organization required to regain its reputation, return to a clearly defined philosophy and attract motivated/ creative/educated people.
