ON UNKNOWN DIARY NOTES BY MILAN KAŠANIN

Summary/Abstract: The paper draws attention for the first time to Milan Kašaninʼs diary entries made during his travels to Canada, America and France. Kašaninʼs diary, preserved in form of manuscript, covers the period from January 3 to February 17, 1963, and can also be read as a travelogue in elementary form. Unpublished diary entries reveal a specific angle of view of the culture and traditions of other peoples from the pen of a prominent writer and art historian. The paper points out the connections between Kašaninʼs diary notes and the book Slučajna otkrića (Random Discoveries).
