Summary/Abstract: Active art is the form of art generated by the meeting of the members of a community with the artists who propose the possibly of representation through community actions and artistic products. The main thing in an active art process is the attention to each other, the need of being together with other people, the diminishing of any kind of differences, of instincts generated by ego and the need of annihilation of the hierarchies and of the urge for power. All these aim to reveal the work of art in each of us and the harmonization in relation to the other and with the elements that create the identity of the community one is part of.
