Summary/Abstract: The article identifies and discusses the cognitive propositional models of indigenous and hybrid construction terminology compounds using the cognitive modelling method. It is believed that the knowledge of propositional nature correlates with the onomasiological structure of the compounds, and the connection of concepts is always visible there. The empirical material has revealed that indigenous and hybrid construction terminology compounds are made on the basis of 16 cognitive propositional models. Objects, mostly the material products of human activity, are in the center of the construction field; therefore, in naming the realities of construction, the basic concept of the OBJECT is actualized most often.
