On the legal nature of circumstances excluding the public danger of the act

Summary/Abstract: The article represents a critical look at the legal nature of the circumstances excluding public danger in Bulgarian criminal law. Based on this, a reassessment is made of the place and importance of these circumstances in the criminal justice system in our country. It is argued that a change de lege ferenda is proposed in the legal framework of the grounds justifying the act - from excluding its public danger to determining its impunity. The necessity of explicit introduction in the Criminal Code of the implementation of the law as a circumstance excluding the criminal nature of the act is also substantiated.
