Interview with Marina Voica about the Cultural Activity Carried Out in Romania

Summary/Abstract: This interview with the famous singer Marina Voica is part of the research documentation for my doctoral thesis entitled „The cultural activity of the Russian émigrés in Romania”. The present text contains original information about the artist’s life in Romania, her cultural activity, professional development, her relationship with Romanian colleagues, and the way she is perceived as a singer in Romania and Russia, her attitude towards other Russian artists who performed in Romania (Pyotr Leshchenko, Aleksandr Vertinsky, Alla Bayanova), the attitude of Romanian public towards Russian artists from the singer’s perspective and other interesting information about Russian cultural emigration in Romania.
