Summary/Abstract: The beginnings of Skrzatusz date back to the 15th century. The parish lost its independence during the Reformation in the 16th century. The canonical erection took place in 1660. In 1772 it was incorporated into the Prussian state. He returns to Poland after the end of World War II in 1945. Bishop Ignacy Jeż, after the creation of the Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg) Diocese, proclaimed Skrzatusz a diocesan sanctuary, where the Miraculous Pieta is continuously worshiped since the end of the 16th century. carrying out decanal visits on their behalf. In the 19th century, the consistory approved subsequent forms used by deans. Such an example is the presented visit from 1831. It was carried out by the dean of Walcz (Wałcz), Antoni Perzyński, on the order of the Archbishop of Poznan (Poznań). In the document, he characterized the material and spiritual condition of the parish. He also distinguished in the protocol the branch church, schools and the parish hospital.
