TRANSFORMATION OF TECHNOLOGY IN ENTERPRISES AS A RESULT OF THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLICATION

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the problems of artificial intelligence technology, which has been dispelled since the end of the 1950s but only now it has begun to bring tangible business results. It is in the development phase requiring spending, but it gives hope of using its potential, which may become a reason for the transformation of enterprises. The presented article aims to indicate the period of technological transformation of enterprises resulting from the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and to identify success factors and determine barriers limiting its development and implementation. The article was written based on research conducted in 2022 among the management staff of IT and R&D departments of enterprises from leading industries in terms of the use of AI. The research results confirm the effectiveness of the solutions offered and are an essential signal to managers that the implemented AI technology contributes to shaping transformative changes in the functioning of enterprises. The article deals with the current and important topic of the technological transformation stemming from the implementation of AI, the importance of which increased even more as a result of the SARS-CoV2 pandemic.
