The use of dual training technology in the formation of professional competencies of teachers

Summary/Abstract: This study aimed to use dual education technology in the formation of professional competencies of teachers working in primary schools and was patterned according to this purpose. In this context, it was aimed to conduct a study in the primary school environment. The research was created and implemented in the spring academic period of 2021–2022. 176 primary schoolteachers who are experts in their field voluntarily participated in the research. In the research, the group participating in the study was provided with dual educational technologies training in the form of a 4-week online training. In order to collect data, the ‘dual education technology’ data collection tool developed by the researchers and validated was used in the study. The data collection tool used in the study was delivered to and collected from the people participating in the study by the online method. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out using t-test; and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. As a result of the research, it is seen that the professional skills of the people participating in the research have been strengthened and they have reached the results that dual educational technologies have brought about success in their educational lives.
