Summary/Abstract: After a short delineation of the new European Private International Law on Succession codified by the EU Regulation No 650/2012 the following article analyses the conflict-of-law treatment of agreements as to succession under that Regulation. The main focus is set on the special conflict-of-law rule of Article 25 Succession Regulation determining which law has to govern admissibility, substantive validity and binding effects of agreements as to succession.
