Summary/Abstract: The day of 24th February 2022 is marking the start of a conventional military operation, having proportions unseen in Europe since the end of World War II. The Ukraine’s conflict remembers the whole world both about the peace fragility and how the destructive actions of capable and lethal peer enemies could be. The approaching of the military operations in Ukraine offers valuable information about the contemporary character of war. Therefore, western armies must reconsider the way in which those types of military operations are conducted. The main goal of this study is to identify several factors that generate the need to adjust combat operations as well as finding possible directions for those adjustments.
