Summary/Abstract: Digital transformation has affected all countries of the world, changed people’s habits, the way of doing business, and increased the availability of products and services, as well as the efficiency of the use of scarce resources. Technology can help us solve the world’s problems, it can connect governments with their citizens and provide access to new forms of education and health services. In order to see and build our understanding of digital transformation and to understand what it means for a country like Bosnia and Herzegovina to be digitally ready, the current level of digital transformation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was analysed through consideration of nine leading international indices that look at digital readiness and evolution from different points of view. countries. The new normal as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic has emphasized digital transformation, along with the energy transition, as key directions of change in the future. In this sense, Bosnia and Herzegovina still lags behind more developed post-transition countries and stronger pressure is needed to catch up with digital technological trends. Increased digital transformation in Bosnia and Herzegovina could increase its growth and development, and thus economic cooperation with other countries in the region.
