Summary/Abstract: Teaching Turkish to native Bulgarian speakers requires specific methodological work. In order to prevent and eliminate interference, some linguistic phenomena must be compared with the Bulgarian language. The purpose of this article is to reveal the specifics of the connection of words and, more specifically, of government as a kind of syntactic connection in Turkish in comparison with Bulgarian, pointing out some features of this language with the aim of avoiding its interference.
