Summary/Abstract: We discuss the ability to experience the joy of life as one of the main achievements of human civilization and culture. Using theoretical construct of „mindfulness“ and „flow“ we focus our attention on subjective ingredients of ability to be not only mindful, but joyful. As crucial condition for that we point love, creativity and freedom.
