Summary/Abstract: The rapid development of communication technologies has made the same a powerful weapon for propaganda of certain ideological models. The spread of misleading and frankly fake news is a persistent trend, especially in social media. Hybrid wars are an integral part of the arsenal of authoritarian regimes in their attempts to take revenge on the liberal world. This again brings us to knowledge as the most important element for guidance and survival in the information world. The ability to distinguish between lying and manipulation and truth is a litmus for a well-educated person.
