Summary/Abstract: A person is born, learns to live with life's difficulties and struggles, and in the meantime acquires many qualities such as love, understanding, respect, greed, hatred and anger. Qualities such as anger and greed can sometimes force a person to do evil unintentionally, even if he is not a bad person, but a lesson must be learned from this situation so that he does not completely become a bad person. Evil is a negative concept when viewed independently. However, when we explore it together with the concept of good, which is the opposite of evil, we understand that this is not such a negative concept. Because if there was no evil in the world, there would be no good. Therefore, good and evil are two concepts that have existed since the beginning of mankind and will persist forever. These are two opposing concepts that have been discussed for years by philosophers, authors of novels, short stories and poetry. We will analyze in this article the behavior and actions of the good and bad heroes in two of the detsnas of the epic The Book of Dede Korkut – A Song about how Basat kills Tepegöz and A Song about the son of Duha Kodzha, Deli Dumrul.
