Summary/Abstract: Totality of legal rules that regulate issues of consumer's protection form the special legal regime by which the established relations between consumer and trader are regulated. These rules serve to regulate whole series of substantive law issues from this specific area of legal relations. However, it has being noticed during the time that state intervention in market relations by imposing substantive law rules is insufficient and that efficient protection of consumers in this area demands to deal with the specific procedural law problems in this field. Thus, in order to achieve interests which were recognised as substantive rights, consumers have the legal protection proceedings at their disposal in case of breach of those substantive rights. This paper is focused to analysis of administrative law and civil law protection of consumer's collective interests. Therefore, the object of research is limited in sense that it did not involve consideration of all measures and instruments available to authorised persons, but it intended to determine in a systematic way basic features and elements, as well as advantages and disadvantages of these aspects of consumer's protection.
