Summary/Abstract: Fairy-tale therapy as a tool supporting bilingualism in Polish expat children in Italy isa follow-up paper to the fairy-tale therapy workshop conducted by the author in May 2019. The workshop was part of a literary and educational undertaking involving Polish expat and Italian children in selected schools in Palermo, Salerno, and Lago Patria. The classes based on the texts from my bilingual collection Baśnie złocistych gwiazd (Tales of the golden stars). The article shows the benefits of promoting bilingualism and to emphasize effectiveness of bibliotherapy as a means to this aim. The outcome of the workshop were the following things created by its participants: illustrations to the book, an acting performance, and models of a gnome’s hollow. The bilingual book was essential in supporting integration of children of both nationalities as well as in inducing them to read.
