Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyse the internal security system of Poland. The author pays attention to the aspects of crisis management and indicates the factors that currently affect the concept of Poland’s internal security. In addition, the author analyses legal documents in the area of national security, as well as scientific works in that field. He also characterizes the key state authorities responsible for non-military security.
