Summary/Abstract: The artefact presented in this archaeological note is a bronze pendant discovered during the archaeological research carried out in the villa from Rapoltu Mare - La Vie, Hunedoara county, in the summer of 2019. The context of the discovery is a level of destruction by fire of a building belonging to the first phase of habitation here and can be dated to the third quarter of the second century AD. The piece, made by superimposing two bronze plates, renders in a naive manner, the silhouette of a naked character. This character is most likely the Goddess Venus, shown in the classical Anadyomene pose, but our pendant was most likely an amulet made for personal or family use.
